A recent gathering in Madrid brought together religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, news eurovita and Denise González. Speakers offered personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how mutual knowledge can help build more inclusive communities.
During the event, participants explored themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when rooted in respect for human rights.
